Rental Terms
Reservation, payment, and identification
- Submitting reservation details does not guarantee equipment availability or create a confirmed reservation. Nexus AVL will contact the customer to confirm the reservation and fulfillment arrangements.
- Full payment is required before equipment is released. Nexus AVL will send electronic payment instructions during follow-up.
- A valid government-issued photo ID must be verified at pickup or delivery.
- No automatic security deposit is required.
- Delivery, shipping, production support, and applicable taxes are separate from the displayed equipment total.
Equipment ownership and responsibility
- Nexus AVL owns all rented equipment.
- The customer is responsible for the equipment from handoff until Nexus AVL accepts its return.
- The customer is responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs for loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear.
- Equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose.
- Equipment may not be opened, altered, transferred, or sub-rented.
- Agreed pickup, delivery, and return arrangements must be followed.
Cancellation policy
Cancel before payment at no charge. After payment, cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are nonrefundable, but the amount paid may be applied once to another rental occurring within 90 days. No-shows are nonrefundable. If Nexus AVL cancels the reservation, the customer receives a full refund.
Late-return policy
Equipment must be returned by the agreed return time. A two-hour grace period is provided. After the grace period, returns less than 12 hours late may be charged 50% of the equipment’s daily rental total. Returns 12–24 hours late may be charged one additional daily rental total. Each additional 24-hour period, or portion thereof, may incur another daily rental charge. Customers should contact Nexus AVL before the return time if an extension is needed.
For weekly rentals, late fees use the normal daily rental total, not one-seventh of the weekly price.
Electronic communications and governing law
The customer agrees to receive reservation information electronically. Michigan law governs the rental.
